Today when i off to renew my car road tax & insurance at post office, i saw one of my friends' mom there. She didn't recognize me, but i can still recognize her. She just sat beside me. I didn't talk to her directly coz she is still the same as i known since i was younger. Quiet and didn't like to talk much.
After 5 minutes sitting beside her, then i finally opened up my mouth and talked with her. The first sentence i was asking her was :" Izit u are Liu Jia Ching's mother?" Then i started to ask her quite a lot of questions. Of course the beginning i asked her were about my friend (Her son), how his life, where is him working blah blah blah and then asked about her and her family.
I got know from her, my friend , he only came back home once or twice per year although he is just working at KL. Only about 120-130km away from Melaka and i totally can't stand why he seldom back home. And the most shocking is, he only gave her mom family expenses ONCE per year!! During CNY. I feel very grieved for her!!
When she was talking about her son, i watched her face, she looks really sad. She told me---- that's why she has to work although she is old now. I guess she is around 65-70 year-old now. She works as a cleaner at one of the coffee shops in AG.
And last week, when i was staying at my customer's house in Chonburi Thailand, i got chatting with my customer's wife. She was indeed nice & friendly. She has a son who is same age as me.
We chatted a lot that night. And the most unforgettable words that she told me was--- when she is getting older or when she can't work anymore, she would stay in old folks home!!! I guess this is the most ridiculous spoken words that i have ever heard!! REALLY.
As i know, most of the parents would scare their children to put them into old folks home, but her, she said she likes to stay in old folks home!! Fcuk!!! Be grieved again. She added, her son ever told her that he would not give her family expenses when he is married. Wtf ??!!
You know, i really have no idea about all these and totally can't stand!! From these two examples, i more realized that how a parent loves their children very very much and how they getting hurt when children are ignoring or neglecting them.
Yes, we should treat our parents nicely and we should filial piety them. Remember, we will get old too one day.
