Portuguese Village Melaka aka Portuguese Settlement

Although I've been living in Melaka for about one quarter century, but if you're asking me how many times i had been to Portuguese Settlement Melaka, seriously to tell you that, LESS THAN 10 TIMES!!

Paiseh to say, but if i really wanted to compare with others Malaccans, i think some are worse, 5 finger nails can count, or i think some of them even never ever visited the Portuguese Settlement in Melaka.

i swear Portuguese Settlement Melaka is really a nice place. If you wanted to feel the Christmas atmosphere, perhaps you need to have a visit here.

Every year when Xmas is around the corner, most of the Serani people or Kristang people whom live in the Portuguese Settlement Melaka would decorate their houses into gorgeous.

Perhaps no matter how hard i try to describe, you won't capture what i meant, so let's the photos do all the talking!!

Still remember who is Albuquerque? His full name is Alfonso de Albuquerque. I still remember when i was studying in form 1 history subject, i pronounced it as" 'Al-fon-so', 'd ', 'Al-bu-kwek-kwek"!! Even now i would also pronounce it as like that. Hilarious!

I observed these Serani people, i noticed that they're just look like a Malay or Thais. Do you agree with me? Or they just look like a Filipino?

There is a hotel in Portuguese Settlement Melaka, it is called " Lisbon Hotel" if not mistaken.

Bunch of kids were playing around at the seaside, and some people were using a pro-camera to snap dunno what bloody things. Perhaps the sands or shells i guess.

If you wanted to dine at the Portuguese Settlement, i would recommend you this No. 7 Stall. The food here are more delicious.

Well, i only managed to snap this " Otak-otak" , the rest of the food don't have, coz i was busy eating with my food until i had forgotten to take the food pics. Lol. You can't blame me, coz i was too hungry. I've waited for the food to be ready for almost an hour! Wtf!!
